Arrangement Over Phosphate
ip.A.) WELLINGTON, This.Da*. The British Phosphate Commission has been able to coma to an arrangement with the New Zealand and Australian Governments to make available supplies of phosphate in accordance with the programmes agreed upon by the two Governments. This information was given by Mr W. Bankes Amery, British representative on the Phosphate Commission, who arrived from London by the Rimutaka yesterday. A rapidly-increasing supply of phosphate was being made available from Nauru and Ocean Island and full production was expected within the next three years.
