Mon, Wife And Son Fight Hold-Up Men
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day A man, his wife and 12-year-old son last night fought three men who held them up at their home in the suburb of Dover Heights. All three suffered "nead wounds, for which they received medical attention, but the men left without taking anything. A man appeared and asked for the householder. He was joined by two other men, cne of whom had a revolver. Though of small stature the householder tackled one man and grappled with him until‘he was struck on the head. He was knocked to the floor with the second blow, but saw the men attack and fell his wife. The son came to the assistance with 3 cricket stump, but was felled by a Distol butt. The householder was able 1o druggie to his feet and get to the door where he shouted for help. The men ran away making thenescape in a utility truck.
