Country Players Defeat Town
The annual cricket match between town and country members of the Whangarei Club was held yesterday, and resulted in an easy win for the country players. Their opening batsmen passed the town side’s total before they were separated. The Slogger’s Cup was awarded to G. C. Johns. # Scores i Country 110 (G. C. Johns 50, R. W. Johns 21, R. W.
