i (Special) LONDON, Jan. 10. | The latest British Gallup poll shows | that Mr Bevin’s popularity as Foreign j Secretary has declined since the same | question was asked at the previous poll in November, when the Labour back-benchers’ “revolt” against the Foreign Secretary’s policy was in progress. Fifty-four per cent of those quesj tinned considered that Mr Bevin was | doing a good job and 20 per cent con- ! sidered he was not. The remainder i do not know. | When the previous poll was taken, 167 per cent approved of Mr Bevin’s ! efforts and 13 per cent opposed them, j A decrease in those approving the j present foreign policy is found in j every group of the population, includj ing trades unionists.
