No Possibility Of Lower Shipping Fores
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. “I see no possibility of a reduction in passenger shipping fares nor in freight costs between the United Kingdom and Australia and New Zealand in the near future, and, on the contrary, with rising costs confronting shipping companies, I would think that cost swould be increased,” said Mr Warwick Gregory. resident director in Sydney of the Port Line, on his arrival in the Dominion. "It probably is not appreciated by the public that the costs of building modern vessels is three times what it was 10 years ago.”
