Atom Bomb Chess
Spec., 11 a.m.) LONDON. Jan. 7. The world’s most up-to-date chessboard is reported to be possesed by the Emir Abdullah of Transjordan. It has been adapted for a special atom bomb piece. Given the chance to make its move, this sweeps every opposing piece of the board simultaneously. The Emir’s board is an ornate affair with white squares of pearl and black squares of Dead Sea marble. The borders are of precious stones.
