Mangopai Branch Federated Farmers
The Mangapai branch of Federated Farmers held its monthly meeting on Monday. The president (Mr A. Thomson) presided over a fair attendance. The secretary and the president both reported on the Whangarei Sub-Pro-vincial meeting held in November, to which they wore delegates.
It was agreed that Farmers’ Union funds and literature be passed on to the new branch of Federated Farmers.
Subjects under discussion during the meeting were; Condition of railway fences next to local farmers' properties; tuberculosis in dairy herds; and fertilisers.
