Moori All Black Back From England
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day Mr Albert Falwasser, famous Maori three-quarter for Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay and Auckland, and Maori All Black in 1926-27, returned on the Rangitiki with his 12-year-old son Geoffrey, and his wife, formerly Miss Lilian Dixon, of Lancashire.
Falwasser returned to England to play League at the end of 1929, and also played in France, returning to England at the time of the Munich crisis.
Fie served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany as a corporal in the Armv Service Corps.
Falwasser said he was not sure if he would remain in New Zealand, but said he might stay two or three years.
