Collision At Sea

(Rec. 1.30.) NEW YORK, Aug. 25. When an Army supply ship collided with the 7600-ton freighter Midland Victory in the Atlantic, about 25 miles east of New York, one of the supply ship's crew was killed, three are missing and 11 injured. The dead man was found in a flooded part of the vessel, when the ship was put into dry dock at Brooklyn, where it was towed by a freighter. The three missing men were swept overboard with several others which the Midland Victory picked up. A sea and air search is proceeding.
