Non-Political Basis Of Australian RSL
(Rec. 1 p.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The Sta'e council of the Returned Servicemen’s League has affirmed that the league is non-sectarian and nonpolitical. The resolution instructed the New South Wales representatives to the Federal executive and congress to defend the constitution which bars party politics. The council confirmed the expulsion from the league of a member who last Thursday threw a red flag during a session of the state congress.
After several delegates had expressed the opinion, that the Press was strongly in favour of the returned soldier, a motion to exclude the Press from the meetings was withdraws!.
