(Official Correspondent with J Force). (Rec. 2.30 p.m.) CHOFU. June 21. Extensive leave plans for 2nd NZEF personnel in Japan are being worked out. The basis of the plan will be six days' leave, excluding travel time, at some leave centre during each '“occupational term.” The special six days’ holiday will be spent either at a 2nd NZEF leave centre at holiday clubs organised by the BCOF or with touring or camping parties. Toward the end of June small parties of New Zealanders are to have an opportunity of spending a short holiday in American rest camps.
