Naval Men's Awards
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Advice has been received from the Admiralty that the King has approved the following awards for distinguished service during the war in the Far East:
Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire—TemporaryLieutenant W. R. Lloyd, R.N.Z.N.V.R. Distinguished Service Cross. —Lieu-tenant-Commander G. R. Davis-Goff, R.N.Z.N.
Distinguished Service Medal.—Chief Petty-Officer (Ty.) J. W. Cameron, Petty-Officer J. Alder, and Petty-Offi-cer R. H. Lund. The list also contains the names of 12 men mentioned in despatches.
