Based upon John Hersey’s prize-winning novel, 20th Century Fox have excelled themselves 'in producing this fine film. John Hodiak and William Bendix are cast in the leading roles, and Gene Tierney also has a featured part. This film, which showed last night at the Regent, is full of splendid acting and should rank as one of the best of the year.
