Maori Woman Hit By Truck And Killed
(P.A.) GISBORNE, This Day. A Maori woman was killed at Ormond on Thursday when she was knocked down by a motor truck, which apparently passed over her body. The victim was:
Mrs Heeni Ruru, aged 38, wife of Mr Patekaha Ruru, of Te Karaka. She was the mother of three children. Mrs Ruru had just alighted from a ’bus. She was killed instantly.
