Horthy’s Release Confirmed

The Chitl of Internal Security at Nuremberg Gaol (Colonel Andrus), confirming that Admiral Horthy was released, said: “He was in my custody but has been released on orders from above. I cannot state the reason for his release." Reuter's says it is reported that high Swedish intermediaries acted to secure his release.
