Oppose Centralised T.U. In German Zone
LONDON, December 19, The T.U.C. delegation returned from a tour of the British zone of Germany and reported that it found many German ti'ade unionists desired an allinclusive centralised trade union organisation. The delegation opposed the desire; stating that it would mean ultimately concentration of all effective power in a small group of men. » It made a series of recommendations calculated to stimulate the formation of free German trade unions, with democratically-elected officers.
