Suggest Death Penalty To Curb Black Market
PARIS. Dec. 19 The death penalty is advanced as the only means of curbing France’s black market .in foodstuffs, says the Associated Press correspondent. The Minister for Food (M. Tanghy-Prig-ent) at a Cabinet meeting, introduced a measure designed to halt illegal dealings and bring food prices within the average family’s reach. It includes a provision particularly aimed at those who are alleged deliberately to be creating and maintaining shortages to keep the black market going. The- Cabinet will study the proposal at alater session. .
