Gale Holds Up Liner
(Rec. 11.0 a.m.) GIBRALTAR, Dec. 18. The Canadian Pacific liner Duchess of Richmond, with homeward bound troops and a Christmas leave party from Gibraltar, anchored off the Rock. Owing to a gale and damage, no craft is able to approach her. The liner was blown against the mole yesterday after her start for Britain and was unable to re-enter Admiralty Harbour.
