Brand Grand Mufti As War Criminal
BELGRADE. August 22. The Yugoslav Government has asked the Allies to hand over Haj Amin el Husseini, the former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, as a war criminal The Grand Mufti visited Bosnia during the German occupation, and allegedly organised tiie “Han.ii” S.S. Division, consist, ing of Bosnian Moslems. They are accused of .handing over to the Germans a number of British and American airmen forced, down in the Bosnian forests.
