Mosquito.—Because the crew are required for repatriation purposes, tho visit of the Mosquito bomber which was to have arrived in New Zealand from India in a few days’ time has been postponed for about a month. This advice was received from the Minister for Defence (Hon. F. Jones) yesterday. Killed.—A youth, aged 18, lost his life while out rabbit shooting at Waitekauri, Waihi, last night. He was Sydney Mann, apprentice carpenter. The deceased was lighting a cigarette when his rifle was accidentally discharged. He was killed instantly.
