Results were:— A Section. —Second round: Thames Valley, G (try by Torres and penalty goal by Stables). Waipa 0: Northland 9 (try by Rameka and penalty goals by Taylor and ToiaL City Central 0. B. Section—City East 23 (tries by Hill (2), Maconaghie. Chellew. Graydon and Spencer, one converted by Chellew. with also kicked a penalty goal). South Auckland 0: City North. 27 (tries by Brown (2), Wickenden. Mazzoleni. Austin, three converted by Silva and two penalty goals by Farrington). Waikato 3 (penalty goal by Cairington). Draw for today’s play:—A section: Northland v. Waipa. 2 p.m.; Thames Valiev v. Central. 3 p.m. B section: Waikato v. South Auckland, 2 p.m.; City North v. City East, 3 p.m.
