Western Film At Regent
Excitement and action in the West — background of so many pictures—is the basis of “Tall in the Saddle,” starring John Wayne and Ella Raines. and now screening at the Regent Theatre. Story of the film appeared in serialised form in the “Saturday Evening Post.” and in consequence, the plot is already widely known, Santa Inez, a little border town, is the scene of memorable action “shots” which demonstrate the quickness of expression of feeling in the wild and lawless West. Comedy also provides a welcome undercurrent through the film, and assists it to reach the high entertainment value it attains. Selected supports are included on the pro. gramme.
