Former French Prime Ministers Liberated

LONDON, May 6 American 7 th. Army troops have freed' several famous men from German prison camps. They- are Dr Schusehnigg, Chancellor of Austria until the Nazis seized the country in 1938; MLeon Blum, M. Dala.dier, and Mi; Iteynaud, former French Prime Ministers, and Generals Gamelin and Weyganri, former French Commanders in Chief. Borotra, the French tennis star, has also heen freed. He was appointed Minister for Sport by the Vichy Government, hut w r as arrested by the Germans in 1942. It is officially announced in Paris that French troops liberated another former French Prime Minister, M. Sarrant, M. Francois Poncot, former Ambassador to Rome, and Signor Francesco Nitti, former Italian Prime Minister.
