WASHINGTON. March 6. The Zambales Mountains sector on Luzon Island is being cleared by a concentric movement to the north by the 38th Division and to the west by the 43rd Division, says General Mac Arthur’s communique. We are gradually enveloping :ho strongly defended * Anfipolo-Wawa line. The 25th Division pushed northward and cleared the Balete Pass road between Digdig and Pun can. The 32nd Division pushed eastward along the Villaverde trail. The 33rd Division pushed along the Ambayabang River. The communique says that 1068 Japanese were killed on Leyte in the past week. Heavy bombers attacked enemy shipping in Keelung Harbour, on the northeast coast of Formosa, and other positions at Tainan, Camka, and Koshun. Heavy bombers also attacked Jesselton and Tarakan, Borneo.
