Endorse Regional Planning
tP.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day A conference of local body and other representatives called by the City Council at the request of the Organisation of National Development, was addressed by Mr. J. W. Mawson, town planning officer of the organisation. It endorsed the principle of regional planning as the most practical means of promoting the economic development of the region, and set up a provisional committee which will report back to a further meeting of the assembled delegates on the construction of a regional committee.
