KA IT Ai A, This l^iv* Substantial three-figure prices have been received liy .Mr. T. W. Maugham, of Victoria Valley, for each of three head of cattle, sold recently for export to Australia. Of “T.-ikeko” Jersey stud, the cattle consist of two in-calf rising two-year-old heifers, and one rising yearling bull. The sain was effected through Messrs. Wright, Stephenson .and Company. Ltd., and this is the first time on record that cattle from the Par North have, been exported to Australia. Mi. Maugham also received an offer of 500 guineas for his herd sire, “Sensation ot j’enearrow,” for export to Australia. A substantial price was also received by another Victoria V’allev Stud owner, Mr. V. R. Beazley, for his Jersey herd sire. “Pamnpuria Sensation,” which is to go to the Waikato district. Of Kotlpn stud, the bull, which is now a six-year-old, was bought as a calf from Irvine Brothers and Mr. Maugfiam.
