Steed Retains Seat On Bay Power Board
(Special) KAITAIA. This Day Only alteration to be made by the official count m positions in Mango nui county elections is in the personnel of the two Mangonui county representatives on the Bay of Islands Electric-power Boai’d. Mr D. Kitch cn, who previously held a seat by seven votes, has been displaced by the sitting member, Mr W. J. Steed, with a total of 335 against Mr Kitchen’s 322. The other representative, Mr E. F. Bradley, inci'eased his total by nine votes, to 424.
No changes have been made in the personnel of the Mangonui County Council or the Mangonui Hospital Board, although individual totals, in ihe main, have been increased by the official count.
