National War Savings
(Snecial) WELLINGTON, This Day National war savings quotas were obtained last week at 180 towns. While these figures are not quite so impressive as those for the preceding week, in the view of the New Zealand National War Savings Committee, they constitute a very satisfactory beginning for the new financial year. With one exception," all the principal centres attained their objectives and in each of the 18 postal districts the full district quota was secured, the surpluses - recorded at. some places having been more than sufficient to offset the deficiencies at others. ■ ' ‘ V"
