Death Of Lord Lonsdale

LONDON, April 13.

The death is announced of Lord Lonsdale, aged 87. Lord Lonsdale was hereditary Admiral of the coasts of Cumberland and Westmoreland and Lord Warden of the West Marshes. He was also Hon: Colonel of the Ist Cumberland Volunteer Artillery since 1834 and Hon. Colonel 3rd Battalion, Border Regiment since 1891 and late Hen. Colonel 51st Field Brigade. Pie owned about 175,000 acres.
