Aucklander With Hyderabad Squadron
(Special) LONDON, March 15. The Air Ministry's News Service states that a veteran pilot with the Hyderabad Squadron is Pilot-Officer Shorthouse (Auckland), who has flown operational hours on Spitfires and is now doing administrative work with the Hyderabad Squadron, taking a leading part in the air war against German sea-borne supplies attempting to reinforce the cnemv facing Anzio.
