Husband Charged With Murder Of Wile
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Thomas Phillip Haworth, 32, chrome tanner, of Otahuhu, appeared before the Magistrate, Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Police Court, this morning charged with murdering his wife, Patricia Florence Haworth, at Otahuhu. on March 10.
Detective-Sergeant Trethewey said that accused was arrested yesterday afternoon by two members of the detective force and asked for a remand for a week to March 24
Counsel for accused (Mr J. Terry) offered no objection, and a remand was granted.
