Women’s Nursing Division Meeting
The annual meeting of (he Y.M.C.A.-St. John Ambulance Women's Nursing Division was held in the Ambulance Hall on February 29. Mrs. C. M. Hill, district lady officer, presided over a good attendance. The year’s activities were presented by Mrs Robinson, secretary, also the balancesheet. which showed a sound condition of the division’s finances. The sewing committee had been working continuously throughout the year, 24 pairs cf pyjamas and 11 knitted garments being sent in to the joint council. Soldiers in hospital were visited in conjunction with St. John Red Cross Joint Council. Mrs. Hill introduced Mrs. E. Robinson, as the Lady Divisional Superintendent, who received a hearty welcome. Mrs. I. Weaver was elected to fill the position of secretary. Mrs. Allan presented the report and balance sheet of the cadets, showing a very successful year's working by the junior members. Miss M. Aston was admitted as a member of the senior division. At the conclusion of the meeting sup- j per was handed round by the committee.
