Maungakaramea
Mr. G. Allcock, of Wellington, spent a holiday with his mother, Mrs. Allcock. Several airmen on furlough tell of the good health and cheery spiriits of our local boys overseas Clarry Smith and Elwood Smith, nephews of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Smith, recently paid a visit to ’Karamea. Miss Deris Walker, who has been relieving at the post office for two months, left on Saturday.
