Anti-Trust Actions
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. March 16. The United States Government has filed anti-trust actions against 15 United States companies and also Imperial Chomiealn Industries, charging maintenance of an international cartel agreement to restrain production and marketing of alkalis. The civil suit seeks abrogation of “illegal contracts’’ among the defendants. The suit also named the German dye trust, I. G. Parboil Industrie, and the Belgian Soh'av Company as co-conspira-tors. The Justice Department seeks abrogation of allegedly illegal contracts amnog the defendants and also an order perpetually enjoining them from dividing export markets, allocating territories, fixing prices, or establishing export.
