OBITUARY
Mrs. Annie Black
One of the oldest residents of Kawakawa, Mrs Annie Bulloch Black, aged 75, died this week in Kawakawa. She was widow of the late William Henry Black, also of Kawakawa. Mrs Black was born in Scotland and migrated to New Zealand with her parents, Mr and Mrs John Russell, in 187 G. Educated in Auckland and Kawakawa, she was married in Auckland to Mr Black and had lived at Kawakawa ever since, Mrs Black had three sons and 11 daughters 23 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Eight of her grandchildren are serving with the forces.
