WEDDING
THOMPSON—NORDSTRAND
A quiet wedding was celebrated at Christ Church, Whangarei. by the Rev. A. E. Prebble, when Nola Jeanne, sixth and youngest daughter of Mrs. C. J. Nordstrand and of the late Mr. J. L. Nordstrand of Whangarei, was married to Harold Fletcher Thompson second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Thompson, of Toka Toka, Northern Wairoa. The bride was given away by her elder brother. She wore a powder-blue frock and carried a bouquet of delphinium and water lilies. She was attended by her sister (Mrs. A. A. Ellis), who wore a becoming' costume and carried a-bouquet of pale shaded asters. The, reception was held at the residence of the bride’s brother (Pte. A. E. Nordstrand.
