Servicemen’s Pay Not Matter For Meddling
CANBERRA, This Day
The Prime Minister (Mr Curtin) stated in the House of Representatives today that he saw no reason why he should suggest to the United States Government that pay for American soldiers in Australia should be reduced any more than he would welcome a suggestion from the British Government that pay for Australian airmen should be reduced in the United Kingdom.
