Kaikohe State Houses
(Special) KAIKOHE, This Day. A statement that manpower war. believed to be the difficulty in ihe way of completing the Kaikohe State houses was made at Tuesday evening's Chamber of Commerce meeting. At the present lime, six It cures and a double unit residence are in progress of erection. It was stated further on good authority, that the houses . would not be ready for “a couple of months, most likely not before the end of May.” The present arrangement was that the 28 homes planned for building on a separate block of land at the corner of Recreation Road ancl the Mangakahia highway would be constructed immediately on completion of those now building, but again this would be subject to manpower availability.
