Kamo Welcome Home
The Kamo hall was filled to capacity when the residents of Kamo, Three Mile Bush and surrounding districts assembled to welcome home Privates Lenne, Mills, Dobson and Mischiswhy. and also to entertain Private Johnson. Mr Makinson welcomed the Kamo boys, and Mr Dobson, on behalf of the Three Mile Bush residents, who had combined with Kamo welcomed Pte. Mischiswhy. Both speakers referred to the fine work which had been performed by the returned men, each of whom made fitting reply. Music was supplied by Mrs McKinnon, and dancing was enjoyed to the full.
