Only Two Two-Lifers Its Championship Singles
(P.A.) DUNEDIN. This Day. Playing conditions were excellent for post-section play in the singles and pairs competitions at the bowling championship tournament on Saturday. Only two two-lifers remained at the end of play, these being M. McKenzie (To Rangi, Invercargill) and A. Clark (Ashbury. Timaru). Eight players will enter the sixth round with one life. They are N. Donaldson (Ponsonby, C. J. Beecroft (Dunedin). M. J. Squire - (Hawora), W. J. Short (Pukokohe), E. W. Taylor (Carlton). W. Gilbert (Kelburn), J. T. Adams (Pheonix. Oamaru). and J. S. Anchor (Hamilton).
