Internecine Strife Ceases In Greece
(Rec. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 19. Clashes which occurred a month ago between Greek guerilla bands have ceased, rival organisations having realised that they were playing into German hands, says the Istanbul correspondent of “The Times.” There was a momentary lull in operations which the Germans initiated a fortnight ago with the object of eliminating the guerillas. A pitched battle lasted 10 days between Germans and Colonel Zervass’ troops. The Germans suffered heavy losses and although they hold some roads the Greeks still control Mount Olympus ancl surrounding areas.
