Kamo Stock Sale

Walter Wakelin Limited report a keen sale at Kamo on Wednesday when a medium entry of cattle and a large entry of pigs was submitted to a large attendance of buyers. Competition for dairy cattle was very keen as was the demand for all classes of pigs. Following artprices realised:—

Dairy Cattle.—One choice pedigree Jersey cow close to profit realised 16 guineas. Good Jersey anti Jersey cross cows, £7/10/- to £l2; gcod quality but more backward cows. £5/15/- to £B/15/-; aged and inferior cows, £3/15/- to £6; good Jersey and Jersey cross heifers, £6 to £9; small heifers, £4 to £5/15/-; cows and heifers in milk, £5 to £10; fat Jersey cows, £4/10/- to £6/15/-; good quality yearling Jersey heifers, £3/12/to £4/6/-; yearling steers, £3/10/- to £5/4/-; cows and calves, £3/10/- to £5/5/-; boner cows, £2 to £3/11/-; 2year Jersey bulls, £5/5/- to £B/8/-; yearling bulls, £3/10/- to £5,
