Pacific Council Meets
(8.0. W. 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 29. The first meeting of the Pacific War Council since the appointment of Lord Louis Mountbatten as Comman-der-in-Chief East Asia was held at Washington today. Members of the council said they had conferred with Fresident Roosevelt and reviewed the general situation in the Pacific.
