Petitioners Object To Kaipara Hospital Plan
(Special) DARGAVILLE, Tuesday. A petition objecting to the proposal of the Kaipara Hospital Board to raise a loan of £250.000 for the erection and equipment of a hospital and buildings in Dargaville has been lodged with the board by 250 ratepayers. The major number of the signatories reside between Aoroa and Te Kopuru, with a few from the Donnelly’s Crossing area. The petition has been sent by the secretary of the board to the Minister for Health (Mr Nordmeyer). None of the contributing local bodies has raised objection to the loan.
