Notice Of Motion To Dismiss Superintendent
"I consider it necessary that this board should abide by the rules governing fire brigades and fire boards,” said Mr. R. V. Thompson, at today's meeting of the Whangarei Fire Board, in giving notice of the following motion: “That at the next ordinary meeting of the board, the appointment of Mr. Sydney Fulljames. as superintendent. be rescinded.” The motion was given in accordance with Rule 7, which dealt with the agelimit of appointees. Brigade Appointments The board today approved of the superintendent's recommendations and appointed F ire-man J. Bisset as senior foreman, and Fireman R. Dempster a? junior foreman.
