More Farming Cases Before Appeal Board

Additional cases concerned mostly wirnj farming operations came before the No. L Armed Forces Appeal Board which rc-i sinned reviewing cases in Whangarei to-i day. Lamb) said Robertson was milking GO cows on a property of 166 j acres and last season production had; been 19,400 gallons of whole milk for town supply. 1400 pints of cream and 600 lbs butterfaf, while pigs also had been raised. Richard I. Rouse, farmer of Towai, said he was farming 206 acres and last season j production from 35 cows had been 6500 lbs but terfal. He was married With three children and worked off the property as; a carpenter. . j Farming 63 acres at Waiotu. William H., Rouse said that last season he milked 30 cows for 7000 lbs butterfaf. He was also covering a daily run of 52 miles with a school bus and his appeal was supported by the Hukerenui School Committee.j evidence being given by Mr R. Ryan, farmer, of; Waipu (Mr Lamb), married, with three; children, said he was running 252 acres and last season 58 cows had yielded 9400; lbs butterfaf while pigs also bad been; raised.
