QUEBEC, August 23. ! President Roosevelt and Mr. Mackenzie [King have announced the creation of a lioint committee to study American and 'Canadian Lend-Lease problems. Major- ; General J. H. Burns is chairman .of the [United States section and Mr. E. P. Taylor [is Canadian chairman. The actual work [of the committee is not defined, but the Associated Press says it is an experimental ;organisation which, if. successful, would [serve as a prototype for similar committees of the other United Nations.
