Eight lengths; four lengths. Times 2.54 3-5, 2.56, 2.56 4-5. Introductory Handicap, of £400; limit 4.44: two miles.—(2-2) Follow ?de (C. E. Hooper) 1; (1-1) Sports Guide, 36yds, (G. Cameron). 2; (4-4) Gold Flight, limit (J Pringle), 3. Scratched: Cabin Boy. A length; a head. Times: 4.22 4-5, 4.21, 4.24 4-5. As the result of an accident two furlongs from home in the Metropolitan Maiden Handicap at Addington, two drivers, C. M. Laing and P. Gallagher, were taken to hospital, and H. J. Smith received bad facial injuries. The accident occurred through Princess Maritza making a bad break. Other drivers involved G. B. Noble, F. C. Walker and D. C. Wai ts —escaped with a shaking.
