Jerseys Sell Well Mr H Thompson, of Victoria Valley, Kaitaia. held his third annual reduction sale of pedigree and grade Jersey heifers and pedigree bulls this week It was conducted by the North Auckland Farmers’ Co-operative Ltd. There was a very fair attendance from a wide area and an excellent sale resulted. This herd holds a wonderful record in the North, both from a production and show point of view, and competition was keen. Mr Thompson yarded his cattle in great order, and selling facilities were all that could be desired. The prices were as follows: In-calf pedigree Jersey heifers, 18y 2 gns. to 25 gns.; grade Jersey in-cali heifers, well-forward, £lO/15/-to £l2/15/-; other heifers, not so forward, £B/10/- to £9/15/-; pedigree Jersey bulls, rising two years, 20 gns. to 40 gns.; rising one-year bulls, 20 gns. to 27 gns.
