(Special) KAJTAIA, This Day. "Mowing grass mostly,” was the reply of E. H. G. Panther, at present a member of the ground staff in the Air Force, who appealed before the No. 1 Armed Forces Appeal Board for release from service to return to his farm. Appellant was married with three children. Having lodged the appeal 11 months previously he hod thought it had been discarded. , . . Panther left it to the board to decide whether bis usefulness was greater m tin- Air Force than it. would be back on bis farm of 230 acres which at present was running only a few dry stock. His wife and children wen- with her penpal, [lc had four brothers; one' at Victoria Valley, one in camp, one in Egypt, and one a prisoner of war.
